Guided by the principles of person-centered therapy, she places great importance on respecting her clients’ autonomy and tailoring her therapeutic strategies to align with each of her clients’ needs.

Ghazal utilizes a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches enhance her ability to address diverse challenges and support her clients’ well-being.

Ghazal’s holistic approach extends to the mind and body. She helps her clients reconnect with their bodies using mindfulness, recognizing, and processing their emotions. Through this process, her clients work through their difficult emotions and traumas, resulting in achieving a state of emotional wellness and peacefulness. Ghazal also practices art therapy, where she assists her clients in using art to express emotions and thoughts that might be hard to put into words. This creative process helps her clients explore their feelings and experiences, leading to self-discovery and insights. This approach boosts self-esteem and coping skills, offering a unique way to heal and grow.

Ghazal’s conviction in the transformative power of therapeutic practices is deeply rooted in her personal experiences of overcoming her own life’s challenges, including immigrating to Canada as an adult and restarting her professional life. Through her therapeutic journey, Ghazal has witnessed how therapy can offer valuable insights, promote self-awareness, and help individuals navigate challenging emotions. She is committed to helping her clients uncover their resilience, discover their true selves, and navigate life’s ups and downs with renewed strength and understanding.
