Kiran has a lively, warm and engaging personality and brings enthusiasm and passion to her work. She is passionate about and committed to working with people who are facing difficulties in their lives, such as with anxiety, depression, trauma, immigration or cultural impacts, interpersonal relationships and bereavement. She has over ten years of clinical experience in the mental health field working with children, adults and older adults from various cultural and religious backgrounds.

Kiran has a strong ability to put clients at ease very quickly through her gentle and transparent approach. She helps individuals understand their emotional health and well-being through various modalities including Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as Trauma-Informed Practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC).

Kiran is committed to empowering others to help themselves develop insight and skills to become their own therapist. She believes that helping others to heal and to change is one of the most meaningful ways to be involved in her community and she feels honoured to be in this position. When she is not working, Kiran is enjoying her time with her children and family and continuing her professional development through a doctoral program in clinical psychology.
