Aaron is passionate about working with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression, as well as disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADD, and ADHD. Aaron has extensive experience in working closely with male youth and young adults. Aaron uses various counselling approaches such as Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Trauma-Informed approaches. Aaron is inspired by Buddhism and brings elements of mindfulness to his practice.
Aaron helps his clients remove and overcome their obstacles so they can navigate complex situations more easily. He empowers them to know themselves better and live a more authentic, meaningful life. His helps his clients to acknowledge their feelings and to sit with their emotions without having to numb them. His empathy, active listening, and level of care helps his clients to feel comfortable and motivated to make a change, take action, and move forward. Aaron sees it as his mission to create the environment and conditions for people to explore their obstacles and reach their optimal mental wellness.
