Ghazal specializes in working with adults who experience anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She utilizes a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), And Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Ghazal’s conviction in the transformative power of therapeutic practices is deeply rooted in her personal experiences of overcoming her own life’s challenges, including immigrating to Canada as an adult and restarting her professional life. Through her therapeutic journey, Ghazal has witnessed how therapy can offer valuable insights, promote self-awareness, and help individuals navigate challenging emotions. She is committed to helping her clients uncover their resilience, discover their true selves, and navigate life’s ups and downs with renewed strength and understanding.

Ghazal is also proficient at working with children, recognizing the unique needs of younger clients, and employs play therapy and art therapy as powerful tools to engage them in the therapeutic process. Through Play and Art therapy, she creates a safe space for children to express themselves, explore emotions, and make sense of their experiences. Ghazal understands that children may find it challenging to communicate their feelings verbally; therefore, she utilizes art and play as non-verbal forms of expression. By incorporating creativity into the therapeutic journey, she helps children build confidence, develop coping skills, and navigate complex emotions. Ghazal is passionate about fostering a supportive and enriching environment for children to thrive, grow, and overcome challenges with resilience.
