As an empathetic counsellor and human, Gurpreet believes in creating a non-judgmental space in which she creates a safe relationship with clients. This allows her clients to share thoughts and feelings without the fear of being judged. Gurpreet empowers clients in their healing journey by making them feel understood, guiding them in the right direction, and by providing them with the right tools.

Gurpreet specializes in working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and various traumas using CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She also works with clients who experience physical or emotional abuse, attachment trauma, as well as trauma stemming from specific events such as accidents or loss. She also uses EMDR in helping her clients with PTSD and complex trauma to overcome their feelings of being stuck in the past.

Gurpreet is also drawn to working with young adults who may be struggling with their identity and the general challenges faced by young individuals. Additionally, she enjoys working with pre-natal and post-natal women who are looking to develop tools and coping techniques to overcome the mental health concerns that arise.

When Gurpreet is not working as a therapist, she likes to express herself through art and as a make-up artist. Gurpreet also enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and going on daily adventures for self-care. She also enjoys meditating, which is a practice she learned from her grandmother as a child.
