Jenny has a calm, intuitive presence that helps create an atmosphere in which clients feel comfortable to open up and speak about deeply personal and painful experiences and memories. Jenny cares deeply about her clients and is invested in helping them succeed in resolving their individual challenges and relationship issues. She has been a trained psychotherapist for the last twenty years. Over the years, Jenny has had the privilege of developing various specialties and expertise. She is highly trained in helping individuals who have experienced sexual, spiritual, verbal, mental, physical, and emotional trauma. She has extensive experience helping couples deepen their attachment and connections. She is passionate about helping strengthen parents’ understanding and connections with their children, youth, and adult children through parent support. She also loves helping guide youth and young adults gain clarity and confidence in themselves and their relationships. Lastly, she holds dearly in her heart a tender place in guiding international and immigrant youth, adults, and families with the adjustment and acculturation to life in Canada.

In her clinical work, Jenny integrates science-based therapies and alternative, holistic approaches to ensure treatment effectiveness and growth in her clients. Her interventions include, but are not limited to: Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Developmental Model Couples Therapy, Discernment Counseling, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Intergenerational Family Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, Sandtray Therapy, EMDR-Sand Therapy, Attachment-based Parenting Coaching, Art Therapy, Guided Visualization, Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Therapy, Systemic Perspective, Spirituality, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other multidisciplinary practices as needed. Jenny has a philosophy of collaborating with her clients to create a tailored therapeutic approach that suits their unique needs.

Jenny has completed all coursework and is in the process of finishing her dissertation toward the fulfillment of her Doctoral Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and Trauma Treatment. She has lived and worked in six different countries and has had the honour of journeying alongside countless individuals, couples, teens, and parents with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds from all around the world while witnessing their powerful transformation and healing. Her world travelling experiences have especially deepened her compassion in providing guidance for youth, adults, and families with international, multicultural, and interracial backgrounds.
