Jase creates spaces where people can express themselves authentically. His facilitation style is guided by the belief that each person’s inner experience contains the wisdom needed for growth. Through curiosity, acceptance, compassion, and courage, he supports people in reconnecting with themselves and moving toward lives that feel more authentic and meaningful.
Jase works best with people navigating major life transitions. His groups and one-on-one coaching have supported individuals through relationship challenges, career changes, grief, and periods of uncertainty or searching for direction. Through somatic awareness, reflective dialogue, and mindfulness-based practices, participants develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and clarity, allowing them to make intentional choices, strengthen their relationships, and live in closer alignment with their values. Whether facilitating a process group, leading a psychoeducational program, or working one-on-one, his aim is to help people expand their capacity for self-awareness, embody their unique strengths, and move toward the life they want to create.
Since 2017, Jase has facilitated mindfulness, accountability, and support groups, including communities serving hundreds of members across Vancouver, BC. Alongside group facilitation, he offers individual coaching and psychoeducational programs. His work is grounded in a humanistic philosophy and draws from Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic inquiry, and Jungian psychology. While these approaches inform his coaching and facilitation, his services are educational and growth-oriented in nature.
His work is also informed by attachment science, contemplative traditions, depth psychology, and current psychological research.
Jase approaches human development through a culturally diverse lens. Growing up in northern Canada as the son of Vietnamese war refugees, he has lived experience navigating cultural conflict, discrimination, immigration, and mixed cultural identity. He is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences with honesty, compassion, and curiosity.
A near-death experience in his twenties reshaped Jase’s understanding of life, death, and the importance of living authentically. Before focusing on coaching and group facilitation, he worked across education, filmmaking, and the creative industries while living in several cities and countries. These experiences continue to inform the way he accompanies people through periods of growth and change.
Outside of his professional work, Jase enjoys dance, music, martial arts, literature, art history, and film. As a former producer and documentary director, he remains an avid film enthusiast. He loves travelling, exploring different cultures, and has maintained a lifelong interest in both Eastern and Western contemplative traditions. Each year, he attends a meditation retreat in Northern Thailand to deepen his own practice. These interests continue to shape his curiosity, presence, and understanding of the human experience.
Ultimately, Jase believes that meaningful growth comes from increasing self-awareness, living with greater authenticity, cultivating deeper relationships, and having the courage to become more fully yourself.
