Ramineh works with adults who may appear to have it all together on the outside, yet privately struggle with relationships, identity, family dynamics, emotional overwhelm, or the pressure to continually hold everything together. She believes meaningful therapy begins with feeling genuinely safe, seen, and understood.
Her style is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative, while also direct and grounded. She creates space for clients to slow down, make sense of their experiences, and develop a deeper, more compassionate relationship with themselves, while gently challenging patterns and assumptions that may no longer serve them.
Her approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and deeply individualized. She draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and somatic approaches.
Her work considers the ways trauma, relationships, family systems, culture, and identity shape how we understand ourselves and move through the world.
Ramineh is particularly interested in supporting people who have learned to be highly independent, capable, and self-reliant, sometimes at the expense of their own emotional needs. Together, therapy can offer an opportunity to explore the patterns, expectations, fears, and protective parts that may have developed to help us navigate life, but may no longer serve us in the same way.
Born and raised in Dubai to immigrant parents, Ramineh later immigrated to Canada independently to pursue her studies in psychology. As both the child of immigrants and an immigrant herself, she brings a personal understanding of the complexities of belonging, cultural identity, family loyalty, independence, and creating a life between different worlds. These experiences have shaped her curiosity about identity, family systems, intergenerational trauma, and the balance between honouring where we come from and creating a life that feels authentically our own.
Having experienced therapy herself over the years, Ramineh understands the vulnerability and courage involved in seeking support. Her work is guided by authenticity, kindness, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s individual story. She feels privileged to support clients as they develop greater self-understanding, navigate the complexities of their lives and relationships, and move toward a life that feels more genuinely their own.
